Ghislaine Viñas

Ghis­laine Viñas is a Nether­lands native who was raised in South Africa. She stud­ied inte­ri­or design in Philadel­phia before mov­ing to New York City, where she launched her career design­ing com­mer­cial office spaces. In 1999, she estab­lished her own firm. Since then, Viñas’ stu­dio has com­plet­ed res­i­den­tial, com­mer­cial, and hos­pi­tal­i­ty projects on both the East and West coasts, and has appeared on HGTV and ​“Open House NYC.” The firm has also designed prod­uct lines rang­ing from wall­pa­per to tex­tiles to fur­ni­ture, always push­ing the bound­aries of col­or, scale, and form.

Work from Ghis­laine Viñas has been fea­tured in nation­al and inter­na­tion­al pub­li­ca­tions, includ­ing Inte­ri­or Design, Vogue, Elle Décor, Archi­tec­tur­al Digest, and AW Architek­tur & Wohnen. Hon­ors include Inte­ri­or Design’s BoY Mer­it Award and the pres­ti­gious Ben­jamin Moore Hue Award for use of col­or in res­i­den­tial inte­ri­ors. Dri­ven by a pas­sion for design and col­or, Viñas stress­es that her studio’s work stays fun and inspir­ing with a mod­ern aes­thet­ic, while ​“not ever look­ing to repeat myself.”
