Ghislaine Viñas is a Netherlands native who was raised in South Africa. She studied interior design in Philadelphia before moving to New York City, where she launched her career designing commercial office spaces. In 1999, she established her own firm. Since then, Viñas’ studio has completed residential, commercial, and hospitality projects on both the East and West coasts, and has appeared on HGTV and “Open House NYC.” The firm has also designed product lines ranging from wallpaper to textiles to furniture, always pushing the boundaries of color, scale, and form.
Work from Ghislaine Viñas has been featured in national and international publications, including Interior Design, Vogue, Elle Décor, Architectural Digest, and AW Architektur & Wohnen. Honors include Interior Design’s BoY Merit Award and the prestigious Benjamin Moore Hue Award for use of color in residential interiors. Driven by a passion for design and color, Viñas stresses that her studio’s work stays fun and inspiring with a modern aesthetic, while “not ever looking to repeat myself.”
