Guided by a commitment to both sustainability and quality, Wolf-Gordon is pleased to launch an all-new Type II wallcovering category with CLAIR. This PVC-free material has durability and performance on par with traditional Type II vinyl, and it’s bleach cleanable. Our initial collection of 10 designs feature versatile textile looks and patterns derived from nature, all with a contemporary attitude.
Made with proprietary evo™ technology, CLAIR is a commercial grade olefin-composite wallcovering. It offers excellent resistance to tearing, staining, and scuffing, as well as superior printing and embossing capabilities. From a sustainability point of view, CLAIR contains no Red List chemicals and is low emitting, produced in the USA from 20% recycled content, and has a Health Product Declaration (HPD).
Ardley: Simple, yet refined, Ardley is a sophisticated linen look. The pattern is composed of layers of subtle color tonalities, including metallic flecks in some of the colorways. Quiet in its appearance, Ardley is elegant on its own or pair it with its geometric coordinate, Ardley Cove.
Castine: The subtle sheen and striated appearance of a heathered fabric is captured in this textural wallcovering. Multiple printed layers of matte and metallic inks interplay with an embossing of woven canvas, giving the design a painterly effect.
Luana: This richly textured wallcovering has the look and feel of coarsely-woven burlap. Looking to weathered, handcrafted textiles for inspiration, the printed pattern conveys a hand-dyed effect.
Surin: Complementary and contrasting hues are printed in thin streaks to imbue this pattern with the elegant look of dupioni silk. Several of the colorways are given a subtle shimmer with metallic details, and a slubbed silk texture completes the effect.
Ardley Cove: “Tribal meets Tech” in this geometric design composed of triangles, diamonds, and other angled shapes. Tonal variations create movement and dimension, while the subtle shading of the grid lines imparts a tiling effect. An elegant ensemble can be achieved in pairing Ardley Cove with its coordinate, Ardley.
Denali: Reminiscent of rain running down a concrete wall, Denali features an organic pattern similar to the striations seen in canyon rock. The layering of a print that captures the roughness of stone with a soft, watercolor effect gives the design the illusion of depth.
Zura: Mimicking a suave pinstripe with graphic bands of color that float between the stripes, Zura has a modern menswear look. Fine, horizontal lines and a silk-like emboss enhance the textile effect.
Pando: Inspired by an artistic take on wood, Pando looks to tree bark for it’s compelling design. At the same time, the pattern captures the effect of viewing branches against the sky, rendered as a pen-and-ink drawing.
Sonora: Like geological layers of sedimentary rock, Sonora is made up of striations of multiple hues and a deep-embossed stone texture. Colors are layered like brushstrokes in a watercolor painting, for a free-form artistic quality.
Taiga: A more literal interpretation of popular wood grain, Taiga is named after an expansive forest found in the high northern latitudes. The pattern mirrors a flat-cut panel with a vertical orientation, and its color line includes natural and gray-washed wood tones.
