Springfield Pediatrics Clinic

When the Lawrence Group designed this pediatric clinic, their goal was to create a playful environment. Floor-to-ceiling RAMPART wall protection printed with colorful silhouettes of children playing covers corridors and common spaces, while designs of a starry night sky in exam rooms make appointments less intimidating.

Stantec was inspired by a meadow ecosystem where forest and field meet when designing this K-8 school—an apt metaphor for a building where elementary and middle schoolers share highly trafficked common spaces. RAMPART's impact-, abrasion-, and stain-resistant construction stands up to heavy abuse from student traffic, and its digital printing capabilities allow for the bold, biophilic custom graphics that aid in wayfinding and energize common areas.

For the design of this senior living facility in Mt. Vernon, NY, KDA Architects embraced the ethos of "home." The upper floors contain four distinct memory care households—each featuring a life-sized mural at the entrance. The murals depict themes from Wartburg's history and are digitally printed on RAMPART, grounding residents in their community while resisting damage from medical equipment strikes.
