Built in 1865 from local Medina sandstone, the Bent‘s Opera House in Medina, NY was historically a renowned performance destination. When local restoration experts sought to transform the building into a bright, eclectic boutique hotel, designers Revisions Interior Design turned to custom printed wallcovering from Wolf-Gordon.
The initial design concepts presented to Revisions featured residential wallcovering designs that would not withstand the high levels of abuse of a hotel guest room; because each guest room at Bents is uniquely themed, the designers also sought wallcoverings that would complement the specific style of each room.
Revisions went with Wolf-Gordon because of the customizability of our wallcoverings, the ease of collaboration with WG Customs Lab, and our ability to print on multiple durable, cleanable type II substrates, including foil. Colorful wallcoverings for rooms as diversely themed as “Dark Arts,” which features a wallcovering patterned with dramatic storm clouds in shades of black and grey, and “Pedal to the Mettle,” which showcases a delicate watercolor pattern as well as a fairy tale floral, show the full range of Wolf-Gordon‘s printing capabilities and provide the perfect backdrop for a one-of-a-kind guest experience.
