Poudre District Middle-High School

Poudre Dis­trict Mid­dle-High School fos­ters a vibrant learn­ing com­mu­ni­ty through shared indoor-out­door spaces and state-of-the-art facil­i­ties. The Building’s Con­cept State­ment is ​“Con­nect­ed to Nature”, which is evi­dent with the one-acre secure out­door ​“Learn­ing Park” serv­ing as the cen­tral focal point for the school. It was impor­tant to hon­or a more nat­ur­al mate­r­i­al palette allow­ing the chang­ing Col­orado sea­sons to aid in giv­ing its own ​“col­or” to the build­ing inte­ri­ors. Tak­ing bud­get, instal­la­tion, main­te­nance, and dura­bil­i­ty into con­sid­er­a­tion point­ed the design­ers toward RAM­PART flex­i­ble wall pro­tec­tion. Accord­ing to Shan­non Sude­meier, Direc­tor of Design, ​“RAM­PART® Grain was the per­fect alter­na­tive, offer­ing the warmth of wood with a much eas­i­er instal­la­tion and great dura­bil­i­ty, espe­cial­ly for ser­pen­tine wall surfaces.”
