RAMPART Certified for Foodservice Interiors

The NSF now recognizes Wolf-Gordon’s RAMPART® wall protection products as complying with its NSF/ANSI 51 standard for use in foodservice environments. This means that RAMPART has met the safety and performance requirements for use in restaurant and commercial kitchen settings.

NSF certification serves as the benchmark by which all commercial foodservice equipment products are measured. It addresses material safety, to ensure the product will not leach harmful chemicals into food; design and construction, to ensure the product is cleanable and unlikely to harbor bacteria; and product performance. The certification is especially important for front-of-house interiors, where a wall or backsplash with RAMPART may be in close proximity to food, such as in a server prep area or self-service beverage or food station.

Designers who specify wall protection for restaurants, cafeterias, corporate dining rooms, fast food establishments, and convenience stores can find a complete list of RAMPART patterns by entering Wolf-Gordon” in a search box at NSF.org.
