The “Frequency Series” consists of 24" x 24" acoustical panels sold in packs of 10. Each V-groove engraved design is based on a pattern created with a Chladni Plate, a tool that visualizes vibration and resonance.
Cadence combines the Chladni figures for the frequency of 73b Hz—an undulating pattern of scalloped horizontal lines—with the frequency of 75 Hz—a more conventional, regularly-spaced grid. The result is a rhythmic, two-layer design formed by a gradient V-groove engraving, which captures the energy and life of sound waves while providing a 0.45 NRC.
