Vaquero
Spanish for “cattle herder,” the vaquero tradition evolved in Mexico and was the foundation for the American cowboy. The faux leather upholstery textile that bears its name is a rugged-looking polycarbonate with the mottled appearance of vintage leather. Along with its supple hand and embossed sheepskin grain, the material is highly resistant to abrasion, heat and humidity, ink and graffiti, and denim dye transfer.
