Chasing Shadow
© Kari Kristensen | Taken by the beauty of the Canadian landscape, Vancouver-based artist Kari Kristensen created a series of linoprints based on the shadows cast by local mountain ranges. The concept that mountains are folded together like origami is expressed in this graphic representation. Her current focus is on redefining linoleum printmaking, a laborious process which involves drawing, carving, and inking a linoleum matrix to achieve a final print.
This artwork will be digitally printed and can be ordered as shown or customized to suit your needs. WG Customs Lab can work with you to modify the size and scale of the image to conform to the specifications of your project. In addition, changes can be made to the coloring and substrate the art is printed on.
