Marabella
This textile wallcovering is woven with high-strength polyethylene yarns, offering performance on par with Type II and Type III vinyl, yet it’s PVC-free. The colorfast/lightfast yarns are inherently antimicrobial and finished with a PFAS-free stain-resistant treatment. Besides being easy to clean, the wallcovering will withstand solvent-based cleaners, diluted bleach, and other hospital-grade disinfectants. Made in the USA, the wallcovering complies with Cal 01350 Indoor Air Quality requirements and is rated Class A in both the ASTM E84 and CAN/ULC-S102.2 surface burning tests.
Marabella's weave features tonal variations and a mixture of matte and gloss sheens. The parallel rows and intersecting columns resemble wire mesh that shimmers in the light. Three whites with different degrees of luster are featured, along with silver, brown, and gunmetal blends.
When unbacked, Marabella can be used as a panel fabric, providing excellent tear strength and abrasion resistance. It is particularly suitable for use as an acoustical panel, as it is dimensionally stable and acoustically transparent—when wrapped around a fiberglass panel, it achieves an NRC rating of 1.0.
