Pawpaw
© Museum of New Mexico | Designed for our “Origins Woods” collection, Pawpaw is named for a fruit-bearing tree long popular among Native Americans. This checkered pattern is made up of end-grain wood blocks in varying shades of brown, offered in colorways with either orange, pale blue, or taupe tints.
Wolf-Gordon's ongoing partnership with the Museum of New Mexico has yielded unique wallcovering designs inspired by artifacts found at the museum. The four Origins Woods patterns—Catalpa, Pawpaw, Tamarack, and Tupelo—preserve the richness and aged character of reclaimed wood, which was used for various museum displays.
The patterns have been digitally printed on Terralon™, an earth-friendly wallcovering substrate that is free of PVC, heavy metals, and phthalates. You can also choose to print on a variety of embossed vinyl textures, Mylar® finishes, textile materials, acrylic panels, and window films. WG Customs Lab can modify the size, scale, and coloring of the pattern to conform to your project specifications.
