A multicolored striated print, metallic streaksand flecks, and a stone-like texture merge toprovide the oxidized appearance of this Type IIwallcovering.
Like the Japanese tea ceremonyfor which it is named, the color palette for Sadōhas a Zen influence. Hushed grays with a gentle wash of pastel hues; earthy tones of petrifiedwood and russet; mineral colors of bronze, zinc,and iron; and subdued shades of matcha andplum incorporate metallic details, bringing a bitof sparkle to walls.
